High Point police said 81-year-old Heddie Dawkins was last seen on Wednesday morning around 1:30 a.m.

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing High Point woman.

High Point police said 81-year-old Heddie Dawkins was last seen on Wednesday morning around 1:30 a.m. They said she was last seen in the area of Blockhouse Court. She was wearing blue pajamas and slippers.

She was last seen in a photo from a doorbell camera early in the morning. Police said they believe she tried to get back into her home. They said she also had blood on her face and she could be injured. Officers are currently searching about a one-mile radius around her address on Blockhouse Court.

Other agencies helping to search for her include Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, Guilford County EMS, High Point Fire Department and NCSHP.

Police said Dawkins has dementia. If you see her, please call 911.
